Thyroid Guard Collars with no binding means extra comfort, flexibility and lighter weight. Premium-fit collars provide 0.5mm pb equivalency protection with a hook and loop closure. Designed for unisex use, sized to fit nearly all patients and medical staff.
Thyroid protection during radiology procedures is one of the most important things to consider during any imaging procedure. Featuring a revamped and upgraded design and a unisex premium-fit sizing for nearly every need, our No Binding Thyroid Guards offer ultimate protection and a superior look. Choose no binding for smooth edges, added comfort and a superior finished look.
Tethered Thyroid Collars are sewn with a Snap-Ring for easy collar attachment to your apron. This option allows for fast and easy access to your collar at any time with tethered strap, reducing the risk of losing or misplacing your collar. Tethered Apron must be selected at time of purchase if selecting tethered option.

Available in several color and fabric options. All fabrics are non-porous and non-absorbent. Cleaning with disinfecting spray or wipes is recommended to remove fluids, dust and dirt.

Protection: 0.5mm Pb equivalency.

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Tungsten-Antimony mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
