Half X-Ray Aprons are designed to protect the lower body, such as the abdomen and pelvic region from radiation during X-ray procedures. Unlike a full apron, it typically covers the front or back of the torso and is often used when a full apron is not feasible or when additional shielding is needed for the lower half of the body. Half aprons are used by both patients and medical professionals in various medical and industrial settings. Available with Tie, Quick Release Belt or Hook & Loop Closure. Also available in Pediatrics (model P-HA).

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Front Protective Half Apron sizing is unisex and based on the actual size of the protective material. When measuring for a Front Protection Apron, measure from one side of the widest part of your body, around to the other side - the actual distance you want protected.
Small: 10" W x 10" L (25.4 cm x 25.4 cm) - recommended for small children
Medium: 18" W x 16" L (45.7 cm x 40.6 cm) - recommended for teenagers
Large: 24" W x 20" L (61 cm x 50.8 cm)
