Overlap Full Protection Male or Female X-Ray Aprons two overlapping front panels that provide a higher lead equivalency at the point of overlap while the overall design is often lighter and more comfortable than traditional aprons. This overlap design allows for a greater reduction in weight and pressure on the wearer's shoulders, as two lighter panels of material can be used to achieve the same level of front-panel protection as a single, heavier panel. Features extra wide shoulders, hook and loop fastener and shoulder pads for added comfort. Lightweight and Lead Free core materials are recommended for this garment due to the weight.

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.

Full Protective Apron sizing is based on actual body measurements. Length should be measured from the sternal notch down. Full Protection Aprons should guard to just above or below the knee depending on your preference.
