Wrap-Around Back Relief Male or Female X-Ray Aprons offer the same features of the Wrap-Around Apron transfering the weight from the shoulders to the hips with the aid of a 6" wide elastic belt. Come standard with BR Belt to fit various sized individuals (please indicate belt size when ordering). Lighter weight protection options are recommended for this model. Optional BX Belt (model BX) provides extra back support and can be ordered separately.

    Regular Lead Protection: 0.5mm Pb Equivalency Front/1.0mm Overlap/0.3mm Back.
    Lightweight and Lead Free Protection: 0.5mm Pb Equivalency Front/1.0 Overlap/0.25mm Back.
    Lightweight and Lead Free core materials are recommended for this garment due to the weight.

    Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
    Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
    Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.


    Full Protective Apron sizing is based on actual body measurements. Length should be measured from the sternal notch down. Full Protection Aprons should guard to just above or below the knee depending on your preference.<
