Adjust-A-Fit Male or Female X-Ray Vests are designed to shield a person's torso from ionizing radiation during medical imaging procedures like X-rays and CT scans. It is a form of personal protective equipment (PPE) worn by both patients and healthcare workers to absorb and block harmful X-rays, reducing the risk of cellular and genetic damage to vital organs like the thyroid, heart, lungs, and reproductive organs. They feature all around protection with overlap in the front, shoulder pads and three panel Hook & Loop Closure, wrapping around and overlap in the front offering extra protection. Fits securely on hips with extra wide Hook & Loop Closure and Quick Release Buckle for added support. Comes standard with large side pocket and hanging loops. Vest and Skirt may also be ordered separately: Vest (Model VO), Skirt (Model SO).

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.

Vest and Skirt Apron sizing is based on actual body measurements. Vest Length should be measured from sternal notch to desired length below your waist.Skirt Length should be measured from desired skirt top (may be above your Regular waistline) to just above your knee.
