With a metal free design, this papoose board is a great selection for medical professionals to use during X-rays. The Phillips Safety papoose board operates on the prevent splint principle of binding the child to a rigid board to suppress struggling, thus resulting in a clean scan for the medical professional. In addition, with its canvas flaps a medical professional can effortlessly restrain a patient, and the four arm/wrist straps can provide additional arm immobilization. Utilizing selective restraint, the flaps can be open to scan the patient while they are still secure with the head and arm straps, all while providing great safety and security for the children. When using this board, you can immobilize a patient in 60 seconds or less, resulting in quick scans and reduced procedure times.
The extra large size Phillips Safety papoose board is also great to use with patients that are frightened or injured, since it has restraints that prevent unnecessary movement, thus offering a clean scan. - Extra Large - 60"L x 17"W (17" at widest point) board, intended for small adults and teenagers. Board weighs 12lbs. This board accomodates patients with a maximum girth of 40". Larger patients require use of extender flaps.
