Coleman Orthopedic Leg Length Discrepancy Blocks provide a convenient and practical solution for assessing and testing leg length discrepancies. While radiography remains the most accurate method for identifying leg length inequality, it is a time-consuming process for radiologists. The use of deep learning techniques can expedite this task by automatically determining leg length from X-rays.
This ortho kit includes nine wooden blocks, each graded by half centimeters from 1.0 to 5.0 cm, and stored in a portable wooden box with a stainless steel handle. The appropriate size block is placed under the foot of the shorter leg to ensure proper positioning of the pelvis during leg, spine, or pelvis X-rays in a standing position. Additionally, these blocks can help determine the correct size for a shoe lift.
