Back Relief Aprons transfer the weight from the shoulders to the hips with the aid of a 6" wide elastic belt. Adjustable back shoulder strap keeps apron snug. Comes standard with BR Belt which may be ordered to fit various sized individuals (please indicate belt size when ordering). Adjustable shoulder pads included. Back Relief Belt may be ordered separately. Optional BRX Belt (Model BRX) provides extra back support. Available in a selection of solid color nylon, vinyl and a wide selection of diamond ripstop fabrics and a variety of sizes.

Protection: 0.5mm Pb Equivalency Front Protection.

Whether you are looking to maximize your budget or reduce strain on your shoulders and back, we have you covered from the most economical to the most comfortable and environmentally friendly.

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.

Front Protective Apron sizing is unisex and based on the actual sizes of the protective material. When measuring for a Front Protection Apron, measure from one side of the widest part of your body, around to the other side - the actual distance you want protected. Length should be measured from the sternal notch down. Front Protection Aprons should guard to just above or below the knee depending on your preference.
