BRX Belt

Back Relief X-Ray Aprons are designed to improve comfort and reduce strain on user shoulders and back. It achieves this by transferring the apron weight from the shoulders to the hips with the help of a built-in, 6" wide, padded belt, often with a lumbar support feature and a quick-release buckle. Features BRX brace belt with unique pulley system to help with lower back stress or strain by providing support and comfort. The pulley system cinches the belt. The system and cords are backed by a lifetime warranty. The BRX belt can be adjusted for various body positions and is comfortable when worn outside our X-ray apparel (may also be used with other apron styles) This model comes standard with BRX Belt which may be ordered to fit various sized individuals. Please indicate belt size when ordering.

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.

Front Protective Apron sizing is unisex and based on the actual sizes of the protective material. When measuring for a Front Protection Apron, measure from one side of the widest part of your body, around to the other side - the actual distance you want protected. Length should be measured from the sternal notch down. Front Protection Aprons should guard to just above or below the knee depending on your preference.
