Three Quarter Wrap X-Ray Aprons are especially designed for the Fluoro field. designed to shield medical professionals from scatter radiation during procedures involving diagnostic medical imaging. It provides comprehensive protection for the front and sides of the body, wrapping around to the back but leaving a portion of the spine and upper back exposed. They feature unique side wrap protection with adjustable elastic back panels with Quick Release Buckle or Hook & Loop Closure fastening flaps that Wrap-Around waist for added support and a comfortable fit. Lighter Weight Protection Options are Recommended as this apron can be heavy to wear for long periods of time.

Regular Lead - 100% Lead is the most economical and recyclable. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 97% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lightweight Lead - Lead-Tin mix is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead and recyclable. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.8% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.
Lead Free - Antimony-Bismuth mix 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead and is the most environmentally friendly. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable. 0.5mm Pb protection averages 96.6% attenuation over 80, 100, 120 KVP.

Three Quarter Wrap Protective Apron sizing is unisex and based on the actual sizes of the protective material. When measuring for a Front Protection Apron, measure from one side of the widest part of your body, around to the other side - the actual distance you want protected. Length should be measured from the sternal notch down. Front Protection Aprons should guard to just above or below the knee depending on your preference.
