Guardian Lightweight Lead and Lead-Free Vest and Skirt is designed to protect healthcare professionals from radiation exposure during medical imaging procedures. With a 0.50mm lead equivalency, the vest and skirt provides reliable protection against radiation. It features a comfortable and flexible two-piece design that shifts more than 65% of the weight from the shoulders directly to the hips which is great for when you are wearing this protection during long imaging procedures. One of the standout features of this Vest & Skirt Combination is the included FREE thyroid collar, which provides protection for the sensitive thyroid gland. The collar is made of the same high-quality material as the apron, ensuring consistent protection throughout the body. Collar is attached to garment via a secure heavy duty buckle attachment.
Another exceptional feature is the heavy-duty name holder on the right shoulder. This allows you to customize the garment with a Room, Technologist or Radiologist name without having to monogram the apron itself. Simply slide a name card into the holding pocket that's sewn into the garment. In addition to this garment’s excellent protective qualities, the Guardian Lightweight Lead-Free Vest and Skirt material is treated with an antimicrobial agent to help prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. The exterior and interior coverings are also easy to clean with any medical grade disinfectant spray or wipe.
All Guardian Vests come with extended front panels achieving an overlap protection. You get excellent protection and a lighter weight vest without compromising protection. All Vests come with Free plush shoulder padding with anti-slip fabric for extra comfort and fit, and two buckles to secure your vest in place at the top and the side so you don’t have any more worries about your vest staying just where you need it. A front vest pocket is also included at no extra charge.
All Guardian Skirts come standard with a premium nonslip fabric in the back at no additional charge. Each skirt has a Velcro closure and a heavy-duty buckle at the waist to secure your skirt in place at all times.

Guardian Lightweight Lead Core Material is a light weight and flexible media composed of a lightweight lead and plasticizers. Lead is an affordable media that is highly protective and provides consistent x-ray protection throughout a wide range or kV. Garments are roughly 15% lighter than a standard lead garment.
Guardian Lead Free Core Material is a light weight and flexible media composed of a proprietary rare earth mineral along with Cerium and plasticizers. Garments are roughly 15% lighter than a standard lead garment.
Garment weights shown below are averaged over batch alotments and do not take into consideration fabric weight. Weights shown are subject to +/-14% weight variance. Please keep this in mind when referencing the weights below.
Sizing: The Guardian Line of Aprons tends to run large. Please use the Sizing Chart Below to order the best fit. These Aprons are available in unisex, standard sizing only. No custom or made to measure.
Vest Length: Measure from highest point of shoulder to the waist. Add 2" for overlap Length. Skirt Length: Measure from the wasitline to the knee or desired length.

Warranty: Guardian Garments are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchase for two years. If a defect appears, a return request must be made with your local X-ray representative. A RMA form must be completed and submitted along with the return of the merchandise. All returns will be evaluated and examined. Do not modify the Lead Garment as this may affect protection and invalidate warranty.
Storage & Maintenance: Keep Lead Garments out of direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to extreme heat. You may roll the Lead Garment and transport in a duffle bag or box, but never sharply fold or crease your Lead Garment. Always store Lead Garments on appropriate metal hangers or lay flat when not in use. Lead Garment surfaces can be cleaned with mild soap diluted with room temp cool water to remove dirt and debris. The surface can be disinfected with any medical grade disinfectant wipe or spray. For any repairs, alterations, trade-ins, or other services, please contact your local X-ray representative. Users must dispose of Lead Garments and accessories by complying with local, state, and federal or international regulations where applicable. Lightweight Lead garments are not eco-friendly.
General Info: Upon receipt, inspect Lead Garment for damages (holes, tears, rips, undone seams). We use crush proof boxes when shipping, but accidents do happen. Sizing and other Lead Garment information may vary based upon customization or special requests. For additional product details, please refer to the Lead Garment’s sewn-on label.
Intended Use: Lead garments are worn by healthcare professionals to protect them from the harmful effects of x-ray radiation during imaging procedures requiring the use of x-ray / fluoroscopy. Lead garments are usually worn in combination with other protective products to provide complete protection from x-ray. You must ensure that your lead garment fits correctly and is properly worn for effective protection. Always check to ensure your Lead Garment is in good working condition and has not been torn or punctured. Pin holes or other damage to the protective core material can compromise the protection and the use of the Lead Garment should cease immediately until it has been properly repaired or replaced.
