Protective garments and shields are available in three (3) core materials for you to choose:
Lead Free is a Tungsten-Antimony or Antimony-Bismuth mix that is 20-25% lighter in weight than regular lead. This is the lightest in weight and the most comfortable.
Lightweight Lead is a Lead-Tin mix and is 10-15% lighter in weight than regular lead. Mid-priced and recommended for medium length procedures.
Regular Lead is 100% lead and is the most economical. Best for short procedures as this is the heaviest in weight.
