Both infant and child AP-PA head immoblizers provide AP-PA views where extreme weight is not necessary. Excellent in emergency areas. May be Velcro fastened to table.
Patient positioning sponges and bolsters are used to provide comfortable positioning of the patient or to support a particular focal area of the body. Positioning aids are designed for use in Medical and Veterinary exams and imaging procedures where it is vital to configure patients properly to eliminate the need for costly duplicate scans.

Available in:
Uncoated Standard Foam - Open-cell uncoated foam for economic general positioning. Radiolucent, Fire-Retardant
Coated ScanCoat Black (-SCB) - strong, state-of-the-art sprayed vinyl coating for imaging compatibility, cleanability and contamination control. Withstands normal clinical use without tearing or peeling. Very low attenuation, skid resistant, resists contamination. Not recommended for low KVP techniques as edges/seams may show.
Closed Cell Ultra Foam (-UF) - Firm closed-cell foam. Resists fluid absorption/contamination, Fire-Retardant. Certain parts may require gluing to obtain complex dimensions. Ultrafoam that have a height higher than 3" or complex dimensions will have glue seam/joints that may attenuate.
